These clouds are amazing. I have taken over 100 pictures in the last two hours. I just can’t get enough. The interesting thing about these clouds (as I understand it) is that they require extremely could temps for the reaction to occur in the atmosphere. We got quite the display yesterday as the cloudy skies cleared to reveal some fantastic Nacreous and Lenticular clouds. Photos are here.
Yesterday we had a rare treat in the skys. Nacreous clouds or Polar Stratospheric. They only occure in the polar regions.
